Tethered jailbreak iOS 6 a4 via Redsn0w 0.9.15 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod 4G

Redsn0w 0.9.15 is finally released. As of now it is an official, public tethered jailbreak iOS 6 is available for all A4 devices (iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G) available. How did the tethered jailbreak iOS 6 (also for Unlocker!) Install on your device, we will tell you in the following instructions.

Please read before installing:

Redsn0w 0.9.15 is "just" a tethered jailbreak iOS 6. After each restart the iDevice you need to Jailbreak so using a PC re-import!

Users who need to unlock their device before updating our special iOS 6 update instructions without baseband upgrade (only for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4).

Always used to install a USB port on your motherboard, no external USB hub or front-panel USB, to avoid problems

Installing iOS 6 tethered jailbreak

Step 1

Redsn0w 0.9.15 Download and unzip. 6 iOS firmware file to download (unless you find yourself currently already on iOS 6!).

Step 2

If you have currently been installed iOS 6 on your device, so you can skip this step. Users who need an unlock follow our special iOS 6 update instructions. (only for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, but other devices can not be updated with securing the base bands!)

All who do not need unlock and have to update to iOS 6 can follow the following steps:

Create a backup of your device, and secure all personal and important data to you.

Select your device to jailbreakendes on the left side. Now select "Options" (optional) and click on "Restore" (restore).

Now select the downloaded iOS from 6 firmware and click "Open."

iTunes now updatet your device to iOS 6th

Step 3

Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4 (as administrator) start (Note: In Win7 or Vista must redsn0w WinXP compatibility mode to start - right click -> properties -> run check "program in compatibility mode for -> Compatibility: Windows XP (Service Pack 3)).

Connect your device to the PC. (If not already)

Now click on "Jailbreak".

Turn off your device and click "Next".

Step 6

redsn0w has up to now, to start the device in DFU mode. Follow the instructions of redsn0w.

Short holding the power button of the iPhone (about 2 seconds). Now press simultaneously, in addition to the home button. After a few seconds (about 10 seconds) you let go of the power button, Haelst the home button but continue until the installation begins (after 15 seconds).

Redsn0w will now begin uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel.

Your iOS device is now 6-tethered jailbroken. The machine must now be rebooted (after every reboot) tethered to the jailbreak is imported and thus work Cydia and all Cydia apps.
