MuscleNerd, one day a leader of the Dev Team has just released a new version of the tool RedSnow, which brings us to version 0.9.14b2 going to improve the procedure to downgrade the baseband on the iPhone 3G foreigners.

If you do not know yet, the team had released an early version of RedSnow that allowed users with iPhone and foreigners who had installed the baseband 06.15.00 iPad to perform the
downgrade retrieving a feature very important that the GPS. With this new version of the procedure has been further improved since the problems encountered on some devices.

The problem of failure to perform the downgrade was due to the NOR chip, the first version of RedSnow support was only to a single type of this chip, but now they have been introduced to further support two models for less popular iPhone 3G. In addition to this version 0.9.14b2 was also introduced a new methodology to put their devices in DFU mode, then perform the procedure to downgrade. The new method allows the positioning of the iPhone in DFU mode even if we have a broken button and we can not in the classical normal mode. This will be done directly with the IPSW file and we can access this new feature from the menu Extras -> Even More -> DFU IPSW.

You can download the new version of RedSnow directly from the following link:
