The Dev-Team has released a new version of the tool to jailbreak, redsn0w 0.9.14b2. The new version includes some improvements for the process to downgrade baseband from 06.15, and introduces a new feature called "DFU IPSW". Let's see in detail what's new.

The "DFU IPSW" is simple to use, simply launch the new redsn0w, go to the "Extras" and click on "Even More". Now select a file currently signed IPSW for your device and you will be able to make a normal recovery. Redsn0w will create a firmware called "ENTER_DFU_" you have to reset like any other firmware, the only difference being that at the conclusion of the transaction, you will end up with an iPhone restore but with a device in DFU mode.
