RedSn0w: The Downgrade baseband 06.15 now possible

downgrade baseband 06.15 now possible
Here is some news that may actually delight at the highest point of many owners of 3G or iPhone 3G, the downgrade the baseband of the iPad (6.15) is finally available after almost years of waiting! The new version of RedSn0w, 0.9.14b1, allows us to return to baseband 05.13.04 and find some
features: Remember, having updated their baseband to the iPad, GPS became nonfunctional and battery took one shot, which was not really pleasing. They had then tried to go back but without success, the Dev-Team has made it clear that it was impossible.

Downgrading in the baseband, we can again use the GPS, gain autonomy and use the IPSW to restore, but besides all that, we keep the ability to unlock the baseband 5.13.04 is compatible with Ultrasn0w. The best of both worlds! It is also stated that the downgrade will work even if you never had the baseband 05.13.04.

The procedure, we recommend you read first before you embark on the downgrade:
  • Download RedSn0w 0.9.14b1 for Windows (run in administrator mode) or for Mac.
  • Go to Extras -> Select IPSW and specify the version of IOS you are using. You can download the IPSW you need in our page "Firmware".
  • Switch off your device using a controlled manner ("slide to turn off").
  • Return to first screen and click Jailbreak redsn0w.
  • Check "Downgrade baseband from iPad", unchecked "Cydia" if you have already installed

Some operations can last long enough (3 to 8 minutes) without giving any return, so be patient!
