As you may have read in a previous post, the Dev-Team released the jailbreak tool for iPhone OS on 6 beta 1, which has reached version Redsn0w 0.9.13b2, and 'specially developed for users developers, the tool is not 'able to install Cydia but rather to open the communication port for connecting
via SSH protocol, to allow testing of tweak compatible programs installed via the terminal or employees as FileZilla or Cyberduck. By following these simple steps, you will be able to install Cydia on your device fully functional, we see how.


Currently Redsn0w 0.9.13b2 and 'able to perform the jailbreak type tethered on the following devices:
  • iPod touch 4G
  • iPhone3GS
  • iPhone4 (GSM)
  • iPhone4 (CDMA)

Installing Cydia

1) Open the terminal (Putty for Windows users)

2) type the following command

ssh root@192.168.1.5 (enter the IP address of your device)

3) Enter the password "alpine" and proceed with the following commands

wget-q-O / tmp / cyinstall.sh http://wyndrepo.googlecode.com/files/cyinstall.sh && chmod 755 / tmp / cyinstall.sh && / tmp / cyinstall.sh

4) Perform a respring your device, not a reboot that may cause you to lose the jailbreak

Now Cydia and 'ready to install extra tweak, here I leave you with a video showing the steps to follow.
