Apple has indeed made available version 5.1.1 of its iOS iPad, iPod touch and iPhone. The update is intended only to improve such things as switching between 2G and 3G on the new iPad or reliability of the HDR option, and offers no major innovation.
The 5.1.1 update IOS, which weighs fifty Mo, is now available either from the Settings menu of your device (General> Software Update) or through iTunes.
Improvements and corrections made by iOS 5.1.1:
Improved reliability of the option for HDR photos taken using the shortcut lockscreen.
Fixed problems that could prevent the alternation between 2G and 3G networks on the new iPad.
Solving problems sometimes during a video AirPlay.
Improved synchronization of Safari bookmarks and playlist.

Fixed a problem causing sometimes displaying a warning "Purchase impossible" when a purchase is made.
